Cabinet Reshuffle

Recently David Lammy became the new deputy prime minister, this also means someone else had to move to his old position, we call that a cabinet reshuffle  because cabinet ministers are moved around to different roles. David Lammy took Angela Rayner's job because one of her properties was owned by a trust and that meant she paid less property tax than a regular home owner, so the public felt like they were being blind sided. If a trust or a bank owns a property, they pay less property tax because the law protects banking assets in this county, the trouble is individuals can set up a trust or a small private bank and use it to own property so they would be exploiting a tax loophole. If a minister uses tax loopholes, it is unacceptable because the public community is looking up to them for help and they're helping themselves. I'm not saying she is a crook though, I think accountants can sometimes tell people to do things like that. When you're working in the leadership cabinet, journalists and opposition leaders will scrutinise everything you do and your job is temporary.

I only think about it when it happens or when it's on the news. Otherwise I just explore my imagination. I imagine owning a 12'' gauge train set, one you can ride on that is tucked away inside a large vent space in your home. No one would see it unless they opened a cupboard with no back panel, it would be a doorway to a mini train station. You could dress up all the fittings on the station and even build the train yourself out of large boxes. The wheels of the tiny train would just be skateboard wheels that sit downwards and sideways on the rails; the rails would just be sheet metal bent into a rectangle shape. The train itself would move by being dragged by electromagnets that are on the floor. The train itself would look like boxes with hinges holding them together but as you modify it, it looks more and more like a train. You cut out holes in the large boxes and put see-through plastic for the windows. You add stickers and paint, things like that. You use a 3D printer to print out seats and housing panels for the progress displays. Finally you make the doors because you're not content with a cavity on the side to get in. The vent would also take away the stale damp air and leave cool fresh dry air.

Playlists and Books

Two things that are important to me are a playlists and books. If your mood becomes too unbalanced then music can help to level you off.
If I feel frustrated or stressed, I listen to this type of music: Happy video game music. If I have resentment for another person then I will listen to something like this: Walking sword anti resentment

I also draw pictures and write blog posts as a hobby. I recently brought my two hobbies together, a good hobby can change your life.
I like to read a lot of books; I think that the more books you read, the happier you will be. I have two book shelves. I have a digital book shelf and a real one. My E Reader is very light and has a back light so it is easier to read at night, I don't need a reading lamp to read it. I also like to read real printed books, sometimes I get interesting factual ones in charity shops for about 50p.

Books that are very interesting to read are Factual Journals and back stories to sci-fi movies. 'Who goes there' by John Campbell is the original story for my favourite movie, 'The thing' from the 80s. I also liked books by Gary Zukav, 'Dancing Wu li masters' is very interesting. I read through '23 minutes in hell' by Bill Weise, he is a guy that claims he was taken to Hell for 23 minutes.

Read more and be happy.

Watching crafts

It is spring 2020 and I will call it the lockdown Spring because many countries around the planet have imposed a lockdown to stop covid19 spreading. People can't leave their homes freely. Here in Britain we are only allowed outside to work, get food and go to hospital, essential things like that.

For me the best way to get through a lockdown is to go on youtube and watch people make things. I love to watch people make lamps and tables using Epoxy resin and to make clever little things out of plastic bottles, stuff like that. I also love to write blog entries and make my own drawings, I rarely share them but do like to draw pictures, by my own standards my artwork is in need of improvement but that is the wonder of having such a hobby, seeing how much better you can be.

I will write out some lockdown keywords for youtube to help you my friend get through this pandemic. They are ...

Crafts
Epoxy resin
Epoxy resin project
Epoxy resin lamp
Epoxy resin table
Home made fountain
Cleaver home craft toys
Home made game
DIY project

The beauty of this list is that you don't need sound. You can play it with the sound off if you have a baby sleeping nearby.
Keep your chin up and try not to think about the chaos that is happening all around you.

May God keep us safe.

Pushing the bar

The best thing about having a hobby in this world is when you know you have a need for improvement and still enjoy doing it because then you are pushing the bar.

Every time you do that hobby, you are improving your skill in that hobby and making it better.

In my hobbies, I am very flawed by my own standards. When I draw pictures they are not very good but I am trying to improve every time I draw something. I am seeing how far I can push the bar and make the picture better.

The same is true for this blog, sometimes I see mistakes in my writing. This is because the predictive text on my phone has put a different word to what I have intended and I didn't notice because I loose focus at that point.

Every time I create something, I am trying to get closer to a perfect product.
