Turbulence revelation

On Sunday night I was flying to Amsterdam and the plane was caught in a storm. It was the greatest amount of turbulence I had ever experienced on a plane. As the plane went to land the pilot aborted the landing because the wind was shifting the plane from side to side. We were informed that it was a normal procedure and that we had nothing to worry about.

The plane was being tossed around so violently that I sensed the plane could easily crash. I'm normally a nervous person but for some reason the thought of my plane crashing didn't make me nervous, I was fine with the idea of my plane crashing, it didn't really bother me. I could hear people crying and also the sound of a large crowd vomiting. I pulled the magazine from the seat pouch and read an article about investing in property in Ibiza, apparently the property prices in Ibiza are inflating so fast that buying and selling there is guaranteed to to bring you huge profits.

Anyway, I learnt something about myself that day. I learned that I am better at coping with certain situations than I thought. There are times when I should feel afraid and I don't, perhaps when the situation is out of my control then the rational part of my mind calms me down.

Today I am grateful for inner strength and stability because there are strengths that don't know I have and they are wonderful. I am also grateful for rational thought because that can have a calming effect. If a situation is outside of your control then there is no point feeling tense.

Apple ninja

Why are shops piling up apples into a mound. Don't they know that apples bruise in the inside when that are crushed by other apples?

I have stopped buying apples now because I don't know if the apple has been crushed or not. The bruise is always under the skin when they are crushed. It was nice that you could get 300 calories  for 10p, well I'll have to stick with pasta.

Even shops that are known for quality are doing it now. Very silly!!!!

The only explanation that I have is that a apple ninja comes and puts in a pile of apples to stop people from buying them. Defender of the pear kingdom.

Two new blogs

I have added 2 new blogs, Joke Johnny for jokes and Riddle booth for Word puzzles. That brings my total to 4 blogs.

Today I am grateful for flowers because they open and look amazing. If I came from a planet where flowers don't exist and saw one then I would be blown away.

Strike yourself

David Cameron wants to launch British airstrikes against terrorists.

If that is the case then he should strike the homeland because the terrorists live amongst  us. They are everywhere so there is no point  bombing them Syria.

Also

There has been many cuts so we should not be able to afford the jet fuel and missiles.

I smell lies....

Also

Russia is on a different page to us. They want Assad back in control so when the caliphate is gone we may find ourselves fighting with the other allies about the post Syrian arrangement.

Today I'm grateful for clean water because it is a wonderful gift.

Face on a train part 2

Earlier today I thought it would be a good idea to put a large face on the front of metro trains like on Thomas the tank engine.

I also think it would be cool if each face was different and each train had a different name.

Some trains would have a tired expression. Others would look very angry and some would look happy.

This is all silly really. Why would you put a giant face on a train? Why not, it would make them more personal and cheer up the people that are getting on them.

I would love cars to have the face of a tiger because then they would look bad. Not like a stuffed animal but like a streamlined version of tiger. Just enough to guess what it is.

What else could you put a face on? .......

*******

Today I am happy and grateful for my girlfriend because I love her 100%.

Face on a train

I was wondering what it would be like to make a large 1 metre sized plastic Thomas the tank engine face and stick it on the front of a tube train.

Wouldn't it be nice to see a face on the front of a train with a happy smile on it. It would cover the ungrateful train driver's face nicely.

Wait a minute!!

Stick a large face on a bus also just above the driver so he can still see the road.

I wonder what else would look better with a plastic face on the front of it? Hmmm

*******

Today I am so happy and grateful for all my fingers because I use all of them to manipulate objects and would notice straight away if one of them is missing.

Memory contamination, is it just me?

Today I'm so happy and grateful for the precious life that we have and try to make the best of it.

Some of my memories have been contaminated with false events but I'm not sure why.

I remember Carly Simon dying from a blood clot but this never happened and she is still very much alive. I remember Missy Elliot singing a tribute song this also never happened.

I remember Mr t falling off a motorbike and dying from a broken neck. This also never happed.

The Gnomes opening song is also different to how I remembered it.

I know I have contaminated memories but I'm not sure why. The most logical explanation is that my memory is unreliable and different memories leek into others causing memories to change from the true event.

The other explanation is that reality itself has changed due to time travel causing events around me to change. Or there is a parallel world  where these events did happen and somehow the memories contaminate the minds of the people in this world.

I don't know, I'm glad it is just a few things that are different, otherwise I would think I'm crazy.

Who is a bigger fool?

Today I am so happy grateful for freedom of speech.

I was wondering why leaders around the world are turning to missiles to stop Gorilla warriors. It won't work because they can hide their assault rifles in hidden compartments below ground and walk amongst the civilians as if they are just another person. The missiles will hit innocent people and terrorists together.  You need snipers to put one bullet in the head of each man that shoots civilians and leave the innocent unharmed. This should be done with clever and very small machines.

Bombing won't work and I hope they think about what they are doing.

Why would a man or woman in this day and age think that the creator of the universe would want them to kill another person? And who has the right to choose who lives and who dies? One one, that is who!

Mali Hotel attack, and metro liner

Today I'm happy and grateful for hot drinks and central heating. They are the two thing help with the cold weather.

Today I was informed by my news app that a hotel in Mali was attacked by terrorists. All I can say is that I hope it never happens again. I hope that fools open their eyes and see what they are doing.

About a month ago the Russian metro Jet airliner was blown up. I ask myself what is the point? Why kill all those people?

Can't people think for themselves? If someone tells you the creator of the universe wants you to kill some people then they are fooling you. Why are so many people turning their backs on the short life we have and destroying everything they can?

No person has a right to murder another person. If you murder another person then you are a murderer, you are not a freedom fighter, you are not a messenger and you are certainly not doing the will of the creator.

Car ramp crossing

Today I am so happy and grateful for my imagination, it may not be the the greatest but I make it tick over as much as possible.

Wouldn't it be nice if every pedestrian crossing was replaced by a small car ramp. The top of the ramp would be 2.5 metres high and pedestrians would  pass under it freely and the cars would pass over it.

The car and the pedestrian would not need to wait for any lights.

Poo poo monster

I am so happy and grateful that I'm not in pain and that I can move freely.

Some people believe in big foot, others sasquatch. Some people believe in tooba cabra.

I believe in the poo poo monster. The poo poo monster rips of the toilet seat and uses it to wipe his bum and puts skid marks on the toilet bowl and loo roll tissue in the sink and piss on the wall.  Then.... Then the poo poo monster leaves a super human sized lump of crap floating in the bowl water. The poo poo monster forces you to hover above the toilet bowl like a poo poo ninja man.

If you eat a strong curry then his arm comes out of the toilet bowl and holds a lit candle under your anus to remind you to write your will.

The poo poo monster writes jokes on the wall of the cubicle that are so bad that even your bum breathes out a sigh of disbelief

The poo poo monster is a crazy punk and visits every public toilet at least once a month.

Charlie Sheen

I'm so happy and grateful that I don't have aids because that is worse than any problem I have. Even today aids is a life changing disease.

Charlie sheen has recently revealed that he is HIV positive. This means that the HIV virus is in his body and spreading through his tissues. It is not clear how he contracted the virus but he suspects he caught it from a needle he shared with drug addicts.

I wonder if his recent crazy behaviour was brought on after learning that he had the virus? The stress and dread of having a virus like that in your body could drive a person crazy and make them drink alcohol.

I hope that we can put the breaks on viruses like aids because it is a nasty disease.

What blogging means to me

Today I'm so happy and grateful for all the things that are free but shouldn't be free like this blog site.

This is my main blog and I changed the name of it from "my diary" to "alan's public diary" because the name of my main blog was misleading, it's not a diary although it is like a diary because the articles are all time and date stamped and some of my thoughts are present. Diaries are only intended for the person that is writing them, it is a book of letters to your future self. This my friend is a blog, it is for future me and present you.

Blogging is a wonderful hobby because it is a form of telepathy, my thoughts are put inside the mind of another person through their eyes and it is possible for the blog to outlive me, especially if I print it and put it in a time capsule. It is possible that the person that is reading this now is not even a human being but a powerful intelligent machine or alien. One thing that is likely is that a future me will be reading this to see what I was thinking in the past.  Blogging is also a neat way to post on multiple social platforms because I can share a link to the blog instead of writing a post over and over again. I love the way I can express myself without someone telling me to shut up and I can also show my gratitude and reaffirm my will. I think everyone should have a dedicated e blog.

I have created a second blog to review objects and the news in a more formal way. I have called it alanisis.

I extend my gratitude for my good health and wealth and I salute all.

Crowsassin

Today I am so happy and grateful for tomorrow because it is another chance paint destiny in the colours of progress.

I had a thought earlier that it could be possible to train crows to assassinate evil murdering bastards. Crows are known for being able to recognise peoples faces and their feet are very hand like. Surely they can pick up poisoned darts and drop it on one bad man's head and leave all the other guys unharmed; I think that would be better than bombing.

What if the crow was not a crow but actually a crow sized robot that sneaks up on the target and only hits that bad man. Or you could computer code a fleet of mimi robots that are the size of a small coin and shoot a tiny poison dart into people holding guns, only the villains would be killed and the innocent would be spared.  Drone missiles are so 00s and kill innocent people, this just makes more angry terrorist recruits.

Discovery and wonder

Today I'm so happy and grateful now that good things are on the way. I am thankful that my situation is not worse than it is, no matter how bad things are they could be a lot worse than they are.

This weekend has been a disaster in France. My mind will look to happy things, new discoveries  and wonders because the world and the cosmos is full of them. I love reading articles about new discoveries.

I believe and feel that peace and tolerance can spread through the world because every bad deed stems from the mind and the minds of the people can change.

I hope that people can let go of hate and violence and  embrace wonder and discoveries.

What I'm trying to say is that violent overlords should chill out and stop hurting people and turn to better things.

War on stupidity

Today I'm so happy and grateful for life, It can be taken away from me at any time. I will make every day a special one.

Last night while I was working there was a string of terror attacks on Paris. The French are my neighbours and I love their country and I think they are very cool. I feel sad that they had such a terrible attack like that.

There is a war on terror. But there should be a war on stupidity. How stupid does a man have to be to think he will receive a reward for killing people and himself. When you kill people and yourself you get nothing but a place in the history books as a fool.

When you die a fool you won't be rewarded for it. If another person tells you that you should do this then why don't you stand up and say "isn't that stupid?" It is wise to live your whole life blamelessly. We should teach our children not to accept anything that is told to us without reasoning and thinking about it.

No fool can tell me to kill another human being because I think for myself. My brain does not allow nonsense to displace common sense and reasoning.

People it is our minds that will be victorious over hate and violence. We will fill the world with creativity and love and we will think for ourselves. We will discover wonderful things and create beautiful things.

Jihadi john assassination, my verdict

Today I am so happy and grateful that I'm not in a situation where I am going to be killed. If I am going to die early I don't know it and that is good because no man should suffer such a terrible ordeal.

Today in the morning I discovered that Jihadi John the masked terrorist had been killed by a drone missile. Jeremy Corbyn the leader of the opposition party said that he should be taken to trial instead of being assassinated. This true, it is good to arrest people and imprison them instead of killing them, however there is no one present to arrest him and he was murdering many people; we only saw the western nationals he beheaded, he killed many local people on a regular basis. I'm pleased he died because the next person that he was due to kill has been spared because he is dead. If he were to kill 5 people next week and you stopped him from being killed then you would kill 5 people. It is same here at home, if there is a man running around shooting people then the best remedy is to shoot that man before he kills more people, if you can arrest him then that is good but if you must then shoot him so he's bad deed is cancelled.

Cancelling bad deeds is what this whole offensive is about and I hope that as few innocent people die as possible. No one likes war except wicked people but sometimes it has to be done that way.

Amazon prime on Roku

I am so happy and grateful for internet TV because it can be paused and watched when the time is more convenient. I'm also grateful for self improvement TV shows that are also present on demand because they lift me up and change my attitude.

Today Amazon prime instant video came onto the UK Roku. I was forced to watch Amazon prime on other devices before today. Now I can watch it on the same device I use for other internet TV software

Roku is the same as Now TV box, they are literally the same hardware device but the Now TV box  blocks many channels such as Netflix.

Book rage

I am so happy and grateful that I have a means to disperse my anger and don't allow my temper to get too big.

The other day I read the article about Richard Britain; he was a countdown champion that wrote a book and bottled a lady on the other side of the country because she gave his book a bad review. As an author I understand his anger because the book is his creation and it is easy to take it personally however he should have controlled himself. The man traveled over 500 miles and smashed her head with a bottle. He looks like a geek, he doesn't look like the kind of man that would do such a thing.

Part of me found the whole thing funny because he looks like a mathematician but he behaved like a football hooligan. It is as if he swapped brains with such a person. Perhaps there is a football hooligan that developed and interest in maths.

I hope that the young lady doesn't have lasting stress for the injury she received.

Remember them

Today I am so happy and grateful that I'm not in a war. People in the middle east are risking their lives to escape from a terrible war.

Today I say thank you for all those soldiers that were killed early in their life because in a war it is the soldiers that are the victims.

I have respect for the soldiers because they follow their mission and we rely on them for stability in our own society. My dream is that wars come to an end and greedy men stop leading their citizens to destruction.

Kingsbury roundabout

Today I'm so happy and grateful now that I have working eyes to read because there are so many amazing stories to read in this world...

In Kingsbury by the train station there is a roundabout that connects Queensbury, Kingsbury, Kenton and Wembley. The roundabout has two issues. Firstly, there is a zebra crossing next to the Wembley road entrance of the round about and people are constantly walking across it. And secondly the roundabout gets saturated by cars coming from honeypot lane. Those two things causes the traffic in Kingsbury to back up all the way to Roe Green,  that is half way to Hendon!!

Two things need to be done...

Firstly the Zebra crossing needs to be replaced by pedestrian traffic lights to give cars a chance to exit the roundabout. Secondly the 4 entrances to the roundabout needs traffic lights to prevent traffic from one road dominating the roundabout.

Lets see how far a written gesture goes, shall we?

Power storage solutions

Today I am so happy and grateful that my body can heal when it is injured, otherwise every injury that I every had would leave a permanent mark.

I was wondering earlier how we would store power that was generated by renewable sources when we generate more then we need. Two solutions came to my head, one is to use weights to pull down on a pulley connected to gears with a high turn ratio, the weight would be lifted up when excess power is generated and released when the power supply is low, a bit like in an old grand father clock; instead of turning a clock hands it turns a dynamo. The other idea is to fill a cylinder with compressed gas when power is high and push it through a cylinder engine when the power is low.

End to frost ?

Today I'm so happy and grateful now that wealth, good health and joy is on the way.

Winter is around the corner. I hope we one day overcome frost and fill our streets with heat that was stored from the summer through vents in the foot paths or heat projectors.

And I hope that the street lights are fitted with blue light because blue light makes you feel like the day is longer than it really is and makes people more cheerful.

Transport infrastructure & energy

Today I'm so happy and grateful now that I'm heading for a better lifestyle and I'm happy I'm still alive and still creating with my mind.

Earlier this week I though it would be a good idea to use the UK's weapon money to make and suspend solar panels above rail roads across the country to make the space used by the trains more productive and help lower the cost of using electricity. I like to coin the term energy race, because as energy becomes cheaper we will use it more but eventually supply will win and energy will stay very cheap.

We remember VE day but will we remember VG day. Victory over gas, the day when it becomes cheaper to heat your home with electricity then Gas.

I thought more about it and thought perhaps all transport infrastructure could be like that. All motorways and train tracks could have solar panels suspended above them on frames or cables. We certainly have the money to do that. We have submarines that can send nuclear missiles to the other side of the planet do we not? Why not super cheap energy renewable energy?

Brother's guy Fawkes party

Today I am so happy and grateful for food and clean water and coffee. I love the  mc Donald's coffee the most because they grind their own beans.

My brothers guy fawkes party was last night. I had unusual fire works.
I sticky taped sparklers and flame dyes to a firelog last week and brought it to the party, it flopped. It burnt a little and sizzled for one hour, lame is the best way to describe it. I am not good at making fireworks myself, I know that now.

However a laser dot projector that I brought seemed to work ok and lit up the smoke from the fireworks. I also brought a LED light wheel to stand in as a Catherine wheel that also worked well, plus I get to use it next year. I think fire works displays should be a mix of fire works and lasers and lights and smoke machines. (And music).

Railway power

Today I am so happy and grateful for sunlight. The way it reaches me every day is different, sometimes it passes through the clouds, other times through clear skies.

The other day I noticed that most of the railroads in the uk are above ground. What if, what if.... What if a frame was built above and around the railroad space and solar panels were inserted into the frame. If this were to happen then the trains would be travelling inside a long sleeve of solar panels as if it were inside a tunnel and the space for the trains would be collecting the sun's rays and harvesting electricity; The railways would double as a solar farm. Wow, what a thought, thousands of square kilometres of area would be collecting solar energy.

I looked on the city link map and noticed that one line goes all the way from Bedford to Brighton, isn't that amazing. Just one small train company has hundreds of miles of track. The whole island has overground railway lines criss crossing it. From the top of Scotland to the bottom of Dorset. From the edge of Kent to start of Cornwall. The solar panels in one roof top and produce more energy than then the house uses. That house sends some of that energy back into the grid, that is from one small 15 by 8 metre rooftop.

If we used money away weapons of mass destruction and invested it on such a project I would be most impressed and proud.

November darkness and light

Today i'm so happy and grateful for life because I will try my best to be a constructive man and always recognise that creation is a miracle to be admired.

Just like any other November it is very cloudy and foggy and dark. In the past this would make me feel depressed but now I'm so busy I barely notice the darkness at all, I have 3 demanding hobbies and a full time job and various responsibilities.

I have been informed by the news that the government has permission to spy on my internet use. All I can say is that I pity the man or woman that has to read through all the articles news reports and e books that I read on a monthly basis, unless the man or woman is like me, in that case they are very lucky I guess.

One thing that will be certain is that they will see that I value all the wonders of creation and do no harm. The more I acknowledge all the amazing wonders the happier I will be. I hope the whole world will be like that and let go of their hatred and fill their minds with gratitude and joy.

If I designed an airport

Today I'm so happy and grateful for talk radio like LBC because it costs me nothing and I can listen to it while I work or clean my home.

The fog I was grateful for yesterday caused problems with air travel in the UK. I roughly designed an airport in my head in the recent past. If I were to design an airport it would be deigned to be functional and efficient; the airport would only have one terminal in the centre of the airport and it would be underground and be arranged into rings. All buildings in the airport would be below ground except for the control tower. The gates of the airport would also be below ground, this would leave space for the aircraft to move around and get to the runways quickly. The airport would have 4 runways on all four sides of the airport to take planes straight away. When the planes parked, commuting tubes would emerge from the ground to connect passengers to the plane.
Gates would also be arranged into rings to allow planes to come and go quickly.  The ring hall ways would be in layers and would go all the way to the edge of the runway. There would be a whole layer of the airport for parking cars, this layer would be throughout the whole surface area of airport. There are many designs to the airport that can't be described with text and would be better described with diagrams.

I'm also thankful for good health wealth and joy. Alan Booth, author of "unanswered questions of alan john  booth" on kindle.

Fog is beautiful

Today I am happy and grateful for natural phenomenons such is fog because it is very pretty and peaceful to look at.

Here in England when Autumn and winter are close together we get a lot of fog; Today is one of those days, there is fog everywhere and it is fairly thick. The light from the street lamps is scattered by the particles inside the fog. I used my fog lights when I was driving and the beams from the light were clearly visible inside the fog as if it were a solid thing ,wow what a wonderful thing to see. Fog is very charming because it removes the details from the surroundings, that is part of the charm it has. Like many things in this world I admire fog and acknowledge it when it appears.

I am also thankful for health wealth and joy.
