Reasoning with monsters

I don't know if it was just me but I always imagined I could reason with monsters in movies. Wouldn't it make a wonderful virtual reality computer game. You walk up to monsters and try reason with them.

I would go, hey Freddy Kruger, I have brought two pizza boxes, my Nintendo and a shared dislike of teenagers. I would say ,Freddy you think 90s teenagers are bad. Millennium ones glue themselves to the road to save the environment and they give patronizing speeches to world leaders. Chill out with me and I will tell you all about it.

Then I would walk up to the girl from "the ring" and say hey sis, I got some onion rings and hot water bottles and towels. Tell me what he did. I'm the brother you never had. I have art stuff for drawing pictures also.

Then I would go up to a Xenomorph from the aliens movie with a goat and say look at the lungs on that thing. Then I would sing "especially for you" by Jason Donovan and I would wear my vest. Singing, "Together, together, I want to show you my love is all so true" "now take this goat and infest it's lungs with goo" and if I get one note wrong it would bite my head off.

What a computer game.

Mcdonald's win

Over the last month I have been playing McDonald's monopoly. To play, you buy McDonald's food items and peel off the tab that is stuck on the meal packaging.

I have won a few trivial things and collected some tabs. I have won food items and vouchers. The best prise I have won is a £10 sky store voucher, I can get a free digital movie or TV show.

I like the game because it is better than scratch cards because you always get something. If you loose,  you still have the food or drink you bought and a collectable tab that could be used later.

I try to get one every day so I will see what happens. It is very fun and I think it is a very good idea.

Game memory

When I was a young boy I would play a Ms-Dos game on my Dad's computer called Captain Comic. It was a side-scrolling computer game and you would collect itinerary to enhance your gameplay, there were all sorts of strange creatures in the game and different places behind different doors, I loved to play it because it was as good as games got in those days.

If I made my own computer game I would make a top-down side-scrolling computer game. By top-down, I mean that you are looking down from above the way you do in sim city. But the itinerary panel in the bottom corner would look the same. The panel above would be used to show interaction graphics like if you met a person on the ground, their face would appear where the health and fire panel bar is. The game would be more of a quest or puzzle based game.

I am grateful for my imagination because it comforts me all the time. How wonderful it is to lie down and be absorbed by your imagination instead of by stress and concerns, I  am thankful for these gifts.
