Here Comes May

It is may tomorrow; I think the time stamp in this blog is set to an American time zone. Here in Britain we're preparing for general elections. I like my local MP because he works as a cabinet minister but he still makes time to respond to his constituents. I know this because I reached out to contact him before. I thought it would be a good idea to make some of the back roads one way so the lane lost could be used for parking and bike lanes; he passed the information over to the council and followed up and contacted me later to inform me what they thought, then he offered  to meet me in person. To me that merits another term. The political party he is in now is in power but they're unpopular at the moment. If my local MP is replaced, I could try to contact the new MP with the same message and see if he is equally diligent.
I think all politicians are forced to lie. Every policy they make can be vetoed by the house of lords and opposition; even the reality of funding can cause them to go back on their words but they act like they're certain their plans will succeed. If they didn't, no one would vote for them. Humans judge superficial things like confidence and dress-code.
I was playing Red Dead redemption throughout April. It's definitely not a game for kids, you witness violent cruelty too often. It's an interesting game, the story unfolds bit by bit. Now I'm left with questions like why did Edgar Ross kill John at the end of the game after he helped him get all the gang members. I'm guessing he knew too much and the people at the top wanted him dead. I like the way you can continue playing the game after you finished the main missions as the son of John Marsden, Jack Marsden and they look alike. You can even complete the less important stranger missions that John Marsden didn't finish. A true open world game.

Trump visit

Earlier in the week, during the d day rememberence day and shortly before for 3 days, Donald Trump visited the United Kingdom. Donald trump is not the type of guy that I would be friends with. Some of the things he said in the past hurt my ears. I think he has little respect for most people. I wouldn't like to meet him in a locker room and hear him talk. However he didn't come to make friends with people. He came as his duty to represent the people of the United States of America. He was doing his job. That is why I was disappointed by all the leaders that didn't show up to the banquet table when they where invited.

Think of it this way. In America one term is 4 years and the maximum number of terms a president can serve is 2. So this means the maximum time he can stay president is 8 years. And he may only serve one term or get impeached before that.

Now he could get replaced by another leader that seems to have a better moral fabric within 5 years from now but if you wait that long to engage in talks and meetings then it may be too late and the ostracized president would cooperate with another state leader and increase relations with them instead of us.

These politicians are working for us and it is their job to represent us. So if they boycott then they are not doing their job. I hope that every party leader that failed to show up and represent their constituents in these talks would not get elected again next time because I think they are forgetting who they are working for.

May day

It is May and Therasa May, our Prime Minister has announced that she will step down as Prime Minister (President) of the UK.
She is the first PM that was at the helm when my son was born.

I think that being the PM in the UK at this time in history is very difficult. Some hard decisions need to be made. The PM was surrounded by people that were very disrespectful. This is something I understand well because I went to high school and was surrounded by people that had no respect for me for over five years. One of the hardest states of mind in this world is knowing that over 250 people don't want to be your friend and that they have no respect for you. All they have for you is many insults. People like me should never go to school, we are much better at learning on our own. For me school was a terrible experience. When I left school, I left with no friends and many bad memories. This didn't effect me much at first because I was very busy learning and working but later in life, when things slowed down a bit, all those horrible feelings came to the surface and for ten years I felt depressed. To overcome this problem I got in touch with my creative side.

I drew pictures and made models out of card and even wrote a book and published it. My hopes are that I will enter the 20s decade a happy successful family man with no mental baggage from my past. I don't want to carry a grudge against anyone. I just want to sail to placid waters in this boat I call my body until my days on this world come to an end. I have committed myself to learning at least one new thing every day and and creating one new thing every day, even if that this is just an entry in my blog.

Happy days are the days I wait for with gratitude.

Second female UK leader

Today I am grateful for free news because I learn about the world around me at no cost.

Today Theresa May will take the helm in the uk and become the second female Prime Minister since our democracy began. A prime minister or PM is the UK title for political leader (The Queen is not a political leader). David Cameron will step down today.

I have high hopes for her and hope she keeps the uk in good shape. I don't care if she is boring or cold hearted.  I just hope she can give us a smooth exit from the EU political union and lead us to prosperity.
