Chat GPT Cribbage

Yesterday I asked chat GPT if it would play Cribbage with me using virtual text based cards. It cooperated and dealt me six text cards and played cribbage. 

If you ask chat GPT to play cribbage, it will bring everything you need to play the game in text form. It will keep the score and deal out text based cards and hide its own playing hand. If you have no one to play cribbage with and no playing cards with you, don't worry just ask chat GPT. You can even ask it deliberately have impaired judgement to make it easier for you to win. 

I think about card games a lot during the winter because the darkest day is the 21st of December and 21 is the score boundary in the black-jack card game. I often play solo card games like free cell and solitaire during the dark winter months because it settles my mood. When it is cold and dark, one can become very moody. Card games work everywhere because playing cards can be represented by simple graphics or just text. I'm sure the dot matrix graphics of a tamagotchi could be enough for a game of cards. 

This month was the first time I played cribbage with ai using just text. 

Cosmo Cribbage

Over the weekend I was looking at some tutorial videos about how to play the cribbage card game. There's a lot to get your head around, there are so many ways to score that you need to place small pegs in a board to keep track of it all. It looks like fun, the only problem is you need at least two players to play the game. 

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to make up my own card game where you only need one player, you could play it whenever you like then. It doesn't need to be popular with other people. 

I went to the Cosmo buffet in reading(reding) with my small family for the first time. They have dishes from many regions of the world. The food is very tasty. The place was a lot like JRC Global buffet; both companies have branches across Britain. It's good to try new things every week.
