Why Weep ?

In the '90s, Princes Diana died in a car crash in Paris. The thing that astonished me was people that didn't know her were openly weeping and weeping again during her funeral. I felt a little bit of pity myself but I didn't cry because I didn't know her personally. Some of those people that were weeping didn't weep for their uncle or aunty when they passed away yet they weep for a lady they never met. 

Perhaps their uncle or Aunty was there at every Christmas lunch and every guy Fawkes feast but they never cried at their funeral. But princes Diane died and they were inconsolable. 

If I passed away myself tomorrow, would I be aware of the passing of time, would my consciousness persist? Or would I be sleeping until resurrection? If I were unaware of the passing of time, would I know that centuries had passed by while I was in the grave after I were resurrected? Would it not seem like a short time had passed since I died. 

Coronation thought

For a short time I thought of king Charles as the  king of spades because I always saw him planting trees when he was the prince of Wales; he would be digging a hole in the ground and putting a small tree there. The emblem of the king of spades is shaped like a leaf as well. 

Imagine having a conjoined twin like that. He would say "One must do a poop" and the one guy would say no "two must do a poop". The conjoined twin would be like a special adviser to the king. How's it hanging special adviser? I haven't played any card games for a long time, except on my phone. I have solitaire type games on there. 

The other thought I had was if I would want to go on a space X rocket if I was an astronaut. Those things seem to explode all the time. I would say no for now. 

Coronation day plan

The Coronation of King Charles the 3rd will be on Saturday the 6th of April I believe. It will be in London. If I was visiting London from another city or country, I would consider all the things I could do during my stay. If I lived in a city is that was far from the ocean, I would consider taking a day trip to Southend on sea, it is the closest coastal town to London and takes about 1 hour from 'West Ham' train station on the C2c train network.  There is lots of things to do there, there is the largest pleasure pier in the world, adventure golf, an amusement park, sea front cafès, arcades and even an aquarium. Did I mention the pleasure pier is so long, it has its own railway, that's not a joke. 

The other coastal town you could visit could be Brighton, it is further away but it takes about the same time to get there because the Thameslink railway have class 700 type trains. I'm a fan of the Thameslink railway, they pushed the limited infrastructure as far as it would go and made sure all their trains could trump the speed caps on all the rails. They must have poured a lot of investment into the franchise because they have a huge operation zone, you need a lot of rollstock to pull that off, all their trains are overhead power high speed electric class 700 type trains, robust and reliable and fast. There are several stations you can get a Thameslink from, Farringdon, London Bridge, Black friars. 

If you just want to enjoy London then I would recommend walking along the Thames (🗣️Tems) river. Most the important places are around there. There are also two large amusement parks in London 'Chessington world of Adventures' in the south and 'Thorpe park' on the western edge, they're not straightforward to get to without a car unfortunately. I think there is a shuttle bus from 'Stains' train station to Thorpe Park. You could get an Uber from Chessington South train station or walk it from there. 

The Windsor Dynasty Continues

Queen Elizabeth died on the 8th of September and was buried today, her funeral was a proper state funeral. Earlier in the week I saw King Charles had some pen rage. He was frustrated by extra pens to taking up elbow space when he was signing his oaf to take on royal duties; I put that down to losing his mum and not having the freedom to grieve in private for a while. I think I would be a bit like that, I would feel frustrated because my parent has passed away and I just want to be ony own for a while to cry out all my tears. Instead, millions of people are watching me. Perhaps I would push a few chairs with excess force and throw my pen after signing something. I think I would be frustrated and irritable in that situation. 

When I think of King Charles, I think of Boston City in the American state of Massachusetts. In the little world that is my mind, King Charles and Boston are one. I remember the river that passes through the city is called Charles and the pass used to go on their metro rail is called the Charlie Card; it works just like the Oyster Card in London, you top it up and it works out cheaper than getting a Charlie ticket. I also recall that their train lines are named after colours(colors), they had the red line, blue line, green line and orange line. I can't remember if there were other lines. I think the blue line goes to the coast, the red line goes to all the important places, the green line was like a hybrid tram and metro system that forks out to the suburbs, the orange line goes elsewhere, I recall going to China town on the orange line. They are a very logical bunch those Americans. They like everything to make sense and be straightforward. 

Platinum Jubilee

I think Britain has reached a crossroads and will change forever. The Queen is now 96 years old, an age where everyday tasks like walking and standing can be very painful and difficult. If the Queen were to retire from royal duties, it would very likely be during the Platinum Jubilee or shortly after; I'm not saying she will though. 

They will call the milestone celebration of 70 years on the throne the 'Platinum Jubilee'. Platinum is a very heavy transition metal that has 78 electrons and 78 Protons, one less than Gold. Gold has 79 electrons. Platinum is almost the same as gold but has one less electron and proton, what a difference it makes. Platinum is like gold with something missing.

Prince Charles talks more than the Queen and has his mind set on helping the environment. He is very direct and seems to like engaging in round table talks. Britain will have a monarch that is more direct and open about his vision. It will be interesting to see what happens when he eventually becomes the King.
