Tragedy Inspires

It was news of a local death that persuaded me to buy an evercade Alpha instead of a super pocket. I was going to get a super pocket, then get the evercade alpha when the super pocket is worn out. Then I thought I should get the better system because I don't know how many days I have left in this world. I think death does that to people, it causes people to buy things they don't need.

I remember playing crystal defender over and over again because I enjoyed setting up a defence force and using tactics to get maximum effect. I think Roguecraft dx sort of reminds me of that time,  I haven't played it yet but it comes across as that sort of game; where tactics is everything. Well, I finished 'full void', let's see if I can get hold of Roguecraft dx.

Dolly Parton Dies

I learnt last night on the 25th of August that the singer Dolly Parton died. The main effect it had on me is to remember that my life span is finite, I have a limited time to live. I don't even know if I will still be alive tomorrow because death is very unpredictable. I recall that she wanted to get people to read more, the more you read the happier you will be. There are so many wonderful books out there. I would always hear her songs on the radio, 'Joline', 'Islands in the stream' and 'I will always love you'.
It made me feel better about playing with my new games console, the evercade alpha. I shouldn't feel guilty about playing computer games because life is very short. I do what I need to do then I have some leisure time. There are so many retro games for me to explore, all of them are little worlds with stories.

All Wrong

I was thinking there was a time when everyone was wrong. One thousand years ago, everyone thought the sun was going around us, everyone was wrong. We are going around the sun; even that is wrong, We're actually going around the solar systems centre of mass, sometimes the solar system's centre of mass is slightly above the sun's surface. Jupiter  and Saturn pull the center of gravity away from the centre of the sun. The sun is also going around the solar system's centre of mass so it looks like it is wobbling from a distance. Sometimes I ask myself what's going on, why are we here.
I learnt of a death of a family friend today, I have reached an age when many people slightly older than me pass away.
Every day has to count for something. Every day has to mean something because time is so short.

Bank Holiday

During the Easter bank holiday, NASA launched the Orion Spaceship into orbit around the Earth, It then did an escape burn and was slung towards the moon, it went around the far side of the moon and headed back to earth. It appeared to be to test the integrity of the new technology. The four astronauts are brave souls. I wouldn't sit on a tiny capsule at the end of a large rocket like that; they can explode and vaporise the crew.
I was wondering if a person had a heart attack and collapsed on a railway crossing and were hit by a train, what would be the cause of death? You could stay it was the train that caused the death but he wouldn't have been in the path of the train if his heart didn't stop. You could also say it was his heart that caused the death but then he may have survived the heart attack but the train ended hope for recovery. I guess both items would be considered, an accident caused by a medical crisis. I think about death every day for a short time because it is something we can't avoid. I'm not a negative person, I just accept that every being in this world dies; that's just the way it is.

Death and Hell

I was thinking about death and hell for a bit today. My perception of hell is it is a place where the wicked are burnt to ashes not a place where people are tormented forever. I was given the opposite view from a book I read called "23 minutes in Hell" by Bill Wiese. I learned he does conferences and they're on YouTube. I don't agree with his vision but I find it interesting, take a look for yourself ⬇️
 23 Minutes in Hell

I wonder if my imaginary friend Klyde Cheerman can cheer me up. Let's have a look ➡️ Joke Away Klyde.
If I could make myself laugh every day then I wouldn't be so grim. I think about death every day but when a disaster happens I think about death a bit more than normal.

Last Third of February

We are now in the last ⅓ of the month, just 10 days left; the Alan-week is 10 days long. I was thinking about death a bit more this month because of the death of Nicola Bulley in Lancashire. I was thinking I'm still alive now because all the wafer thin membranes that are keeping my blood in my blood vessels has held out for all these years. The one cancer cell that could evade my immune system didn't emerge, I'm very lucky to still be alive. Any day could be my last day in this world.

I started playing computer games more this month, the game I play on my phone the most at the moment is 'Crossy Road'.
I just learned that I could unlock the Pac man playing piece without Crossy road coins. This playing piece and the 'Flat Eric' one is my favourite.
The flat Eric one causes the map to dance and dance music is playing in the background.

Play computer games because when you're dead you can't. Be happy.

Lisa Presley Dies

I recently learned that Elvis Presley's Daughter passed away because of a heart attack. I feel pity for her friends and Family. I think about death every day because it can't be avoided. One day my luck will run out and my life in this world will end. I'm only one bad cell away from Cancer and one blood clot away from stroke. Every day I'm alive is good luck.

At the time Lisa Presley Died, I was thinking about Prestige-Alan, an alter ego of me that doesn't exist. A version of me that is famous. He would have nothing useful to say. He would just laugh if someone said something he didn't like about him and turn rumours about him into a joke. The reason I was thinking this way was because Prince Harry released a book about the Royal family, he reminds me of Princes Fergy. If he was concerned about privacy and the press, then why the book and the Netflix series? I don't know. I have nothing personal against prince Harry, or Prince William.

I think the most important thing in this life is to live a life free of hate and grudges. To be pleasing to the creator. It is more important to be righteous than to be popular. I hope that I avoid being pompous through the remainder off my life.

Sad Day

Jacob, my son.
On Thursday, just over a day ago the Queen died. I feel pity for the royal family at this time. The Queen was always in my life in one way or another; I would listen to the Queen's Speech at Christmas or watch parades on her birthday. I would see her mark on money.

On the day of the Queen's death I was playing sega columns from the 90s on my mini flashback sega Mega drive. Then I went to pick you up from the Nursery. There was a deluge of rain and we were soaked. We got home dried off and we watched some cartoons for a little while. Then we rushed to the pet shop to get a bubbler for our pet fish.
It was then that we learned that the Queen had a medical emergency in Balmoral. Later we were eating dinner and that was when we learned that Queen had passed away. I was shocked son, I wasn't expecting the Queen to die now because she had just welcomed the new Prime Minister and seemed healthy.

Now Prince Charles is King Charles III. I wish him the best, long life and good health.

The nothing

About 2 days ago an English TV Presenter killed herself. It is very sad and caused me to bring up a life long question; What is the final destination for your being? What is the outcome for my consciousness when your body can no longer persist?
The picture I have in my mind is that you pass through a dark door into oblivion where nothing exists not even time or darkness. Just nothingness. This is backed up by the Christian bible, it says that people sleep in death until they are resurrected by God on judgement day.
But you wouldn't be aware of the passing of time while you are dead, it is a bit like a time machine in a way except you wouldn't send your back to the future if you weren't standing in the machine properly; hmm, that would be episode 4 I think.

Anyway, if there is nothing beyond this life then why care about anything? You could become the champion of something now and be oblivious the next day after an accident. No joy, no reminiscence, no gratitude, no love, no hate, no Laughter, just nothing.

I search for confirmation very often. I read books about an after life and search for proof of the mind alive beyond death, like another level of existence.

Truck death, no pity

Earlier in the week I discovered that 39 people were killed by stowing away on a truck heading for the UK. Well... I was angered because whoever shut them in that truck put the well being and safety of all those people aside for the sake of the persuit of profit. They chose money over people's lives. Like Judas and his 30 pieces of silver.

If I saw the individual that was responsible being raped by a Mountain Gorilla I would throw the Gorilla a bottle of olive oil and signal him to loob it. And If he cries for help I would say, "Sorry, I'm busy looking for my pity, it is as if my pity froze to death".

If I saw a Saudi holy police man cut the man's head off I would walk up to the executioner and compliment him on his swing and invite him to a game of golf. Then I would ask him to keep an eye out for my pity, I would say it is as if my pity was swallowed up by a dark cold metal box for the sake of some fast cash.

I don't think executing murderers is right but in this case I would not know where my pity is. No pity for this fool. To the person that puts people in danger for dosh, my pity would be lost.

Death by Proxy

One thing that defines 2018 is long distance attacks on unpopular nationals of certain countries.  Sergei Skripal and his daughter from Russia we're both poisoned in Sailsbury, UK in spring of this year and in the Autumn it was the Saudi journalist that was attacked in the Saudi embassy, it is not clear to me when I wrote this how he died. The Saudi government have admitted that violence was involved but they are claiming it was a fight that went wrong.

I don't get involved, different countries value different things in this world. I'm just an ordinary guy with a blog. A man that lived in both sides of the millennium and sits down to reflect. If my blog offends anyone then I ask them to remember that it is just a hobby and and a gift to the people of the future.

Windrush and Death

My Aunty died a few days ago and I hope that she is in a better place. A place filled with bliss and joy and peace. This document is in the public domain so I won't say anything else.

There is a scandal coined "windrush". It is about people that were brought over when they were children and the system didn't keep records, they worked all their life and are now being treated as illegal immigrants, even though they were in the UK for all their lives paying taxes and working. It must be very stressful for all those people involved.

Departed and departing

Yesterday was the birthday of my granny that passed away. Her departure was positive in a way because she was freed from a very painful state of being. I am sure she is in a very blissful place. A place of paradise where joy overflows and fills all that are there. It would be nice if people could come back and tell me the wonders of the next journey.

Feeling sadness for a lost family member is nothing new to me. From a young age I had to deal with a great loss and went to school feeling very depressed. Life is short and one must reach out for meaning and reason and find happiness from within. There are often less then ten decades before it ends. I will try to make every day count.

May this short life we have be fruitful and complete.

Princes Diane

This week is the 20th anniversary of princes Diane's death. My people were overcome with grief when she died but I wasn't. There was a mass mourning that wouldn't be out of place in North Korea. I was sad she was dead but I wasn't overcome with grief.

I didn't hate her but she was a stranger to me. She was not part of my family or my friend circle. David Guest died in 2016 and I felt more sadness for him because I liked his character more and would feel amused by his jokes. I think some people that grieved the death of Diane we're more touched by her death then the death of their own granny.

I feel like the reason for the big reaction was because her life was very much in the public domain. The news papers would publish everything about her life. She was vulnerable and behaved in a way that many people would relate to, she was a do-gooder and kind. People felt pride, pity and familiarity for her so her death became personal to them, like the loss of a sister or aunty.

I wonder if our Queen will receive the same reaction when she eventually dies. I love my Queen because she loves the UK and I can relate to her outlook. She is proud of our country and speaks out about all the good things. She is like a third Granny to me. When her journey has finished, will we feel sadness? Will we be overcome with grief like princes Di? We will see. I know I will shed a tear because she is the only ruling monarch I have known all my life.
