Fifa boycott

Earlier this month on remembrance day, fifa enforced their rule not to wear anything other than the sports kit during a game.

They didn't allow the players to wear poppies to show sorrow and respect for dead and injured soldiers around the world. The players ignored the rule and are facing disciplinary action. Soldiers around the world are used and abused for the sake of government agenda. They are sent to war and blown up or mentally tortured by the reality of war. Fifa have made a big mistake, very big.

I have now boycotted all products that are connected to fifa. I won't buy the fifa 2017 football game or fifa 2018 that will come out later in the year or any clothing associated with them. I hope others will do the same.

I am grateful for peace in my community and hope that the rules of soldiers will change strictly to rescuers from disasters and security in case of war and little else.

Terminus the Movie

Last night I watched a movie called Terminus on the English Netflix. It was very interesting. It is about a crashed UFO that heals and restores life. At first it appears to be of alien origin but later seems to be a gift from the future because it appears shortly before a global nuclear war. The life form inside was able to heal a man and also restore a man's leg.

It was telepathic and instructed the guy that found it to build a metal cocoon which the thing could use to preserve the life of two people until long after the war was over.

I would say it is not a bad movie.

Brexit insults, oh please.

Brexit has become a well known term around the world. Unfortunately Brexit voters are associated with stupidity and hatred. The truth is that we are not stupid. We all had rational reasons to vote to leave the European union. I had a bunch of reasons.

Firstly I felt that international trade deals with the EU was a compromise best fit arrangement for all the member states and suited no one perfectly. I felt that trade deals would be better if each country made their own deals.

Secondly we would often sanction trade with unpopular countries as a block and that is likely to lead to world war 3. Hitler came to power in a bankrupt Germany if I remember correctly.

Thirdly I didn't like the EU interfering in our Legal system and overturning court judgements because some of the criminals are a hazard to our safety and it is none their business.

Fourthly I don't like the Euro currency and think it will cause the European central bank to collapse and devalue, that in turn will lead Economic refugees flooding into the UK in their millions causing the cost of property to rise too high. Good for rich and bad for ordinary people.

Finally I feel that every county in the Euro zone is better off outside the EU political and trade union. Some countries are being depopulated others are over populated, both situations are grim. Depopulation leads to losses in tax revenues and less resources. Overpopulation leads to unbalanced inflation and low wages.

Please tell me now if you think I am a bigot or stupid hater. Please do. I am tired of hearing this nonsense and I am tired of people aggressively trying overturn a democratic vote, If we stay in the EU then the UK is a dictatorship and should not take the moral high ground with other dictatorships around the world and  our future is a grim one.

Donald Trump and Croydon Tram

Donald Trump has been elected president of the united states of America.  I wish him good luck. I hope that he makes good trade deals with the UK and US when we leave the EU in 2 years.

I wish the best for America and I hope that the people that voted for Hillary or the other guys keep their chins up and sees opportunity in any changes.

I am distancing  myself from politics now because I feel it is out of my control. I'm just a little guy and I don't have any answers and no one listens to me anyway.

I am shocked that on the same Day a tram overturned in south London and seven people were killed. I wonder why,  Perhaps the driver was going too fast or there was something on the track, the incident happened in Croydon yesterday. We will see in good time what actually happened.

Today I am grateful for my good health and all the opportunities that come with it. If my health was too bad then I would not have the freedom to create so many things.

Letter to Obama

Dear Obama.

I am a fan of yours, now your presidency has come to an end I would like to congratulate you for doing a good job. When you came to office, America was in financial trouble, You took the helm and handled the situation very well. You avoided many conflicts and  prevented wars that a lesser president would engage in.

I wish you a good retirement from the American leadership. I hope that the next president it like you and avoids wars and inspires people to take up science skills.  I know that you were not free to do everything you wanted because you wanted to better place to live and some of the military spending wastage to be invested to technology and infrastructure. This is not your fault  because it takes a long time to change a super power county into a super producer, I'd say 50 years would be needed to slowly move spending away from military and into science and infrastructure. Perhaps 1% per year would need to be moved.

I also wish the best for the future president that replaces you whether it is Donald or Hillary my message to them would be to strive for peace and growth just like you have. I also hope that Obama care becomes a giant free health service that would match the British NHS.

All the best from Alan

Reading for peace

A life changing event is weeks away and I am feeling tension. I feel it is unwise to broadcast personal things in my life before they happen but lets just say it is a big thing.

As the weeks draw close I feel more tense and more pressure to get things done. But there is one time when there is nothing I can do, when I am lying down in my bed to sleep. That is the one time when the tension is not needed the most . I learned as I was growing up that reading is one of the best ways to release stress and tension from your life.

I have an e-book I was reading called "who goes there?", It is the base story for the 1982 and 2011 movie titled "the thing". It is about a shape shifting alien creature that kills other organisms then imitates their body and tissues precisely. This book is interesting on a number of levels. Firstly the science of the story is left in the book, In the movie most of the science is cut out to focus on the action and drama.

Secondly the story is interesting and when you read it you recreate  the story in your head and it appears the way you think it should.

and also you can read the book and watch the movie and almost have a reservoir of deleted scenes in your mind and you can compare the movie with the book and think about the reasons for the changes.

So today my gratitude is for being able to read and also  having something to read, The best gift that was given to me is the ability to read and write and it can  do more for your state of mind then any drink or drug.
