Cosmo Cribbage

Over the weekend I was looking at some tutorial videos about how to play the cribbage card game. There's a lot to get your head around, there are so many ways to score that you need to place small pegs in a board to keep track of it all. It looks like fun, the only problem is you need at least two players to play the game. 

I was wondering if it would be a good idea to make up my own card game where you only need one player, you could play it whenever you like then. It doesn't need to be popular with other people. 

I went to the Cosmo buffet in reading(reding) with my small family for the first time. They have dishes from many regions of the world. The food is very tasty. The place was a lot like JRC Global buffet; both companies have branches across Britain. It's good to try new things every week. 

End of November Budget

I recently learned that the elected labour party of Britain had prepared a budget; a plan for how public spending will be gathered and divided up. It wasn't well received. 

The bank of England who are politically independent of the government consider it to be daft as do the opposition leadership. Many journalists on both sides of the political polarity also consider it to be daft. I think even the civil servant that leaked the budget early probably thinks it's a bad idea. (They want to find who it is and send the person to jail) 

I'm not an expert myself, I would say lifting the spending cap for universal credit recipients with more than 2 children would be like giving them a third breadwinner. If you freeze my earnings allowance at twelve and half thousand and I get a pay rise in spring, that would mean I pay more. They set it up so everyone will pay more after spring 2026.  I don't know much but I know that if you take money from one person and give it to another, you're not creating more money or jobs. 

It's not too late to change it if they think it is wrong.

Time Osmosis

I was wondering if things we do now can affect the past. Like you fart in someone's face and your great grandad gets a slap in the face because you farted. 

The reason I thought this is because in the light slit experiment, light behaves like a wave but when you observe it, it behaves like a particle. If you observe individual photons, they have already been transmitted. Does that mean the action of observing the particle changed the past? 

What I'm asking is if it is possible that events happened in the past because what is happening today or in the future. 

If we sinned half as much as we do, would Jesus spend only half the time on the cross?  He lost a lot of blood from the lashes, I got the impression his blood pressure was already dangerously low, but he forced himself to stay alive longer so he could pay for the sins of the whole of mankind. The holy spirit was distressed when finally died because they share the same consciousness and the whole world went dark. The holy spirit went  back in time to king David and showed him the future, he wrote Psalm 22, it describes the crucifixion. Then Jesus quoted Psalm 22 "Father, why have you forsaken me". 

Brain Washing Observation

One thing I have noticed in recent months is people with a lot of wealth and prestige are accidentally brainwashing themselves. They furnish their homes with expensive materials; they put slate tiles on the walls and marble stone on the floor, they put granite on their tables and kitchen surfaces and birch/walnut wooden panels as skirting boards. There is nothing wrong with that but those materials don't have much colour (I'm British, we spell color like that). They Brainwash themselves because they see quality materials don't have much colour so they start wearing clothes that are dull and pick dull colours for their vehicles. I don't think they do it deliberately but I think they brainwash themselves by accident and the rest of the community into thinking less colour means better quality. I could be wrong though but I have noticed no one drives purple or light green or yellow cars these days, they see it as less quality and they prefer white, black or grey cars. 

I see it everywhere, I see logos that were bright in the past and now they're grey. I sometimes feel like they're using digital filters to remove colour from animations. 

When we think, everything is connected, everything fits together like links on a bike chain. 

I could be wrong though. 

Train Batteries

Am I the only person that thinks battery powered trains should have charged batteries inserted into them like a toy train? 

The battery would have its own wheels and be pushed onto the train like a trolley. It would be too heavy to lift but that is ok. It would then be pushed into a bay slot on the train. The train would take two batteries so the lights would stay on when the battery is being changed and one could be allowed to run down completely and the other on standby. 

Just thinking... 

I don't think they should be stuck in place and charged on the train. I think the battery should work the same way as a toy. 

Half Way through November

We are about half way through November and the cold snap has arrived late.  The frost didn't quite come in the morning but I was informed it would snow from the middle of the week in my area. 

It's dark and cold outside and grim. Viruses are going everywhere. It's a good job they turned on the Christmas lights, that helps a bit. 

There's nothing like waking up in the morning with a pain in the neck and headache and wondering why I here in this world. You just stop for a moment and just wonder why. If we just live and die then there is no point to anything. 

I was wondering why 'Non' from superman wasn't able to speak. I thought perhaps he as from a different planet to the other two villains. What is the back story on that? Perhaps there is a reason they wanted him to be like that. 

I sometimes wonder if some of the dinosaurs could mimic speech like today's birds do. Crows, Parots and the Liar Bird are able to mimic human phonics. Perhaps their voice would be much deeper because they had larger voice boxes. 

Bookends and Pinball

I was looking around at online shops to see if there are miniature pinball machines with the same surfistication and detail as the bigger ones. It turns out there isn't, not in the places I looked. There are smaller pinball machines but they're very simple. They're just mass produced injection moulded gimics. I guess there's no market for such a thing in normal shops. 

At the same time I was looking to see if there were creative book ends. There were many, some of them are like little dolls houses with their own little lights. 

There's a lot of cool stuff out there. A lot of cool stuff to distract an ordinary man from this sad world. 

BBC or Cineworld

I was looking at nothing earlier, lost in my own thoughts. Women must think that mens heads are filled with dirty thoughts, but the truth is we think about our problems and things. We think about our bad decisions we made in the past and things we want to do in the future. We think about things we want to buy like recliners or computers and things like that. Men beat themselves up about mistakes we made many years ago then we think about what we want. 

I was thinking about Cineworld and the BBC. They both have subscription service that costs roughly the same price. The Cineworld pass lets you watch as many movies as you like. The TV licence gives you the freedom to watch all the content on British state television (BBC). I told myself that I will only have one because I don't want to pay for both and don't have time for both of them. 

I like to watch crime documentaries and news reports on the BBC iPlayer. The other stuff doesn't really interest me much, I don't like talent shows or cooking programs. Sometimes the drama shows are ok; the historical ones can sometimes be cool. In Cineworld they tend to only show new movies and most movies are not interesting to me but you get to sit inside the cinema and be supplied with 32 amp surround sound and subwoofer speakers that are too loud to use at home. The screen in the cinema  is so big it wouldn't fint in my home. In my home I just use 1.5 amp TV speakers built into the TV.

If I decided to cancel my TV licence and stop watching BBC content, I would replace it with a Cineworld pass. In recent days, I started leaning towards Cineworld because the BBC created a documentary with a video that was edited in a misleading way. They were bending the truth and putting words in someone's mouth using editing. They even fired some of their staff that were involved. The BBC isn't infallible, they sometimes take a view that is wrong. Sometimes I feel like they're biased and not impartial about their content. 

Where is the Planet Sergeant ?

I was wondering now there is a very clear genocide in progress in Sudan and Northern Nigeria, will the planet sergeant sail there and protest. She told us we have stolen her childhood and she is full of anger. When will she sail out there? 

The streets are empty, no one is going out to protest. There are no crowds gathering outside the Nigerian embassy or the Sudanese one. Nothing. 

I guess outrage is selective. 

I feel frustrated, I feel like I can't do anything about it because I'm  just an ordinary man. I can only write down the truth and hope people will wake up. I hope other leaders will speak up. 

BBC Panorama

It was during remembrance Sunday that I learned that the BBC Panorama show had edited Donald trump's video to make it sound like he was inciting the riots. They used something he said later in a speech to put words in his mouth. 

This is what got Charlie Kirk killed; media organisations would chop up his videos and change what he was saying using video editing. Many people convicted themselves he is a villain that deserves to die. 

At least there is integrity in my own blog, I write down the truth plus my opinions. If my opinion is wrong it won't matter because I make it clear it just my opinion.

Micro World

One thing that makes this time period significant is the ability to make transistor arrays microscopic and cram billions of them into a tiny space. SD cards are quite cheap these days and I find the stamp sized cartridges to be very easy to get hold of. They can store billions of characters of Data. (Several hours of high quality video) . If your phone is low on memory, you can insert a micro SD card and expand the memory of the device. It will store all your pictures and app data.

The same is true of smart TV sticks or circuit boards for smart TVs. They render high quality  video and sound and send it to the TV. When I was born, a computer that can handle the graphics of PAC Man was astonishing. 

That is the highlight of the week sometimes, sitting down on a late evening when I'm off duty with a nice cup of tea  and looking through the menu of Netflix for something interesting to see. 

The First Third of November

One third of November has passed by, there has yet to be frost in the morning here in my part of Britain and feeling frustrated is normal. There is an ongoing genocide happening throughout the world. Thousands of Christians are being killed every month in Nigeria and countless others are being killed in Sudan for being Christian or "too black?"'. I can't do anything about it. The President of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu is downplaying the genocide; this isn't the '90s, everyone has smart phones, they all have advanced cameras in their pockets as an accessory and they share their persecution with the world, I see pastors standing in mass graves calling out for help, I see body bags and blood stained burned out churches. What can I do? the only thing I can do is write down the truth and hope we can stop this crisis. Being frustrated is pointless when I know I can't do anything other than share the truth. Even when Donald Trump spoke out, social media was peddling a view of a oil lobbyist with his own interests. He's a brave man, he must have known many would react that way. I hope that other leaders stand up and speak up. 

I distract myself. I look at things. I was looking at a coffee coloured coat, it had a hood at the back and some zipped pockets. I thought it looked very nice and the price was quite low. I read through all the reviews. I look at things to stop feeling frustrated sometimes, other times it is a way to stop feeling angry or stressed. 

Nigeria Cover Up

The president of Nigeria Bola Tinabu claims Christians are not being persecuted in Nigeria, he claims terror groups like Boko Haram are killing people of all faiths, even other Muslims. I don't agree. 

I think he is lying, I think the terror groups in the north of the country are targeting mostly Christians, they're going after churches and shooting Christians dead. I'm saying you can't downplay persecution anymore because everyone has smart phones and they can share their persecution with the world. The world can see it happening.

Most politicians tell many lies and break many promises. I think he doesn't want to send soldiers to confront the terrorists, they have advanced weapons like mounted 50 calibre assault rifles with accurate targeting scopes. 

The terrorist don't care about the constitution, they don't adhere to the rules. That's why they're called terrorists. 

Wimpy Bot

Recently I leaned that a domestic humanoid robot had become available to the market. It made me realize why C3PO from star wars was a wimp. The robot didn't really have emotions like fear; the reason it was a wimp was because the manufacturer didn't want to get sued so they programmed it to behave like a wimp. If C3PO was bold and confrontational, it could cause a violent outburst and get the owner injured. They could say their loved one was clobbered to death because his robot was shooting its mouth off and place the blame on the robot's manufacturer. 

When I look at the Robot called neo, I understand their concerns. They made the robot very soft and incapable of showing threatening provocative behaviour. It can't even show facial expressions. It just looks like a gentle servant. 

While I was processing this thought, I learnt that there was a mass stabbing on a train in the midlands. I'm guessing some young man with schizophrenia had lost the plot or something like that and the authorities left the fence open. I feel like every time we have Halloween, evil spirits emerge amongst the minds of people and cause chaos. He should be careful how we celebrate festivities because we're inviting evil things into our world. 

What October 2025 Means To Me

October was very much about me using virtual reality to lose weight. I would put on my virtual reality headset at times when I wanted to snack and I would abstain from eating. I would only eat 2 meals every day, breakfast and dinner. I would eat breakfast when I wake up and have dinner before I go to work, that's it. The weight I lost was an equivalent to a large bag of rice, about 12 kg. Virtual reality also helps me not to think about the situation in the world and negative things. As you age you start to accumulate sad thoughts, Regret, Shame and Resentment; they build in your mind and weigh you down mentally. It is wonderful to be a child and discard sad thoughts. That's how most men keep themselves together, they play games, they play chess, cribbage, dominoes or computer games. They replace their sad thoughts with  hobbies and activities to keep their mind busy. 

Israel and Hamas signed a peace agreement, It is a shame that people don't protest about the other things that happen in the world. The genocides happening in the African nations and the unfair treatment to people in autocratic nations, I  guess if Jewish governments aren't involved than they don't care because they hate Jews. When I used to read holocaust memoirs, I did't understand how they happened. Now I understand, it's all about lies and dogma. If you spread a lie then you can artificially create hate. At least in this place I will value the truth, all people are the same and just want to live in peace accept for slaves to dogma and hate and the ignorant.  

What will happen now in November? Who knows.
