Nothing really stood out much to me in November except I noticed no one seemed to care about the genocides that were happening in some of the african nations. Months earlier people were aggressively calling a military rescue operation with relatively few deaths a genocide. I became aware it had nothing to do with deaths, it's just hatred of Jews. If Jews were involved in the other conflicts, they would call that a genocide. When I was a young man I wanted to understand how a democratic country like Germany could so quickly become a Jew killing tyranny, now I understand; it's all about lies and dogma. If you spread lies and hold beliefs about a group of people, you will inspire other people and cause a flood of hate and violence. The key is to never except anything people say and test your metal, know who you are and what you value.
Here in Britain the elected government released the Autumn budget, a plan for how public money would be gathered and divided up. The bank of England and office for Budget responsibility considered it to be daft. As did the opposition government and many journalists. They still have until spring 2026 to change it if they think it will cause problems.
Hong Kong had their equivalent to the Grenfell disaster, a large tower block burned up and many people were affected.
