Too Short

Life is very short, more short than we think. I sleep for about 6 to 8 hours per day. I think I'm unconscious for about 6 hours. That is one quarter of the day. This means I'm not aware of one quarter of my life. If I live to be 80 years old. I will only be awake for three quarters of that time. (Time × 0.75) 60 years. I would be unconscious for 20 years in total.
I think about death every day because we can't avoid it but I try to make the thought brief. If you sleep with your hands on your chest, the heat from your hands would go back into your torso. The weight of my arms also helps with sleep.

When I wake up, my mind and thoughts are restored in stages.  First I realise what I am, then I remember who I am. Then I remember where I live. Then I remember what day it is, then I regain control of my muscles and can move. All this happens in the space of about 25 seconds.
