I learnt the other day that you can use the raspberry pi imager software to create a bootable android micro SD card that will boot on a raspberry pi computer. I thought that is interesting because it would last a lot longer than a phone would. The batteries and side buttons on mobile phones get worn out over time. A raspberry pi computer would just sit there and some builds have no moving parts at all because they use an aluminium heat sync that is built into the case. The heat is just carried away using convection.
You could have a place where all your important apps run, and you could do all your important computing on there.
Raspberry pi's are cheap single board computers and some of them like the raspberry pi 5 are quite powerful, they can run modern 64 bit android os systems without lagging. They are all very small.
I even thought to myself, I could have an android based pc iny sitting room that is only used for android computer games.
