I noticed earlier today that some of the nations that were birthed from the horror of the Atlantic slave trade want Britain to compensate them for the poverty caused by the slave trade. I would say they should go to the start of the supply chain and send the bill to the warrior tribes that chained up their ancestors in the beginning. The people that sold them to our evil merchants. We could send them the bill for sending navy forces to force the slave trade to end. It was very expensive and cost many lives and large somes of money.
As for me, I just daydream for solace. I imagine making spinners to play cardless blackjack, one wheel for the suit, one for the rank. You spin the wheels and use toggles to keep track of what cards you have. No electricity, no micro chip, all manual.
Then I ask myself. If there is an alternative way to display a screen. Like if you have five LED matrix arrays and fiber optic strands to bring the image together. I even ask myself if the body of a squid can be considered a screen because it has colour changing pixels.
